Albany Law to host LGBT Law Day
From reddit user LGBT_Throwagay:
Albany Law School is hosting an LGBT Law Day on March 21st, that provides free legal consultations with practicing attorneys on a wide variety of issues that affect the LGBT community. Healthcare proxies, end of life planning, powers of attorney, name changes, gender-marker changes, adoption, discrimination, immigration, child custody, healthcare policies for the Transgender community, among many others. There will also be presentations and forums on different legal issues affecting the community, and lunch will be provided, which is always a plus.
If someone you know could benefit from this, let them know. You can register on Albany Law’s website to take advantage of these services.
