Quality events for this weekend vol. 91
Friday June 28
It’s Troy Night Out! There’s a Friday Flea which has a bunch of great vendors, there’s an American Family Portrait Exhibition at Fulton Street Gallery. Stop by 291 River Street for the Launch of Troy Cloth & Paper! Formerly Design it Together, they’re taking things in a slightly different direction and are making a few changes to reflect that. Some Girls has Truemaster and live mannequins, and of course, there’s the TNO Afterparty at Daisy Bakers.
Towheads Screening at Basilica Hudson: The film is a modern-day tale of motherhood as told through the eyes of a Brooklyn mom. The director is present and will do a Q&A after the screening.
Last Call, Gunther Weezul, Vessels and Changing Tides at Valentine’s: Metal/hardcore show with Albany natives, Vessels.
Saturday June 29
Rockabilly Burlesque at the River Street Pub: If you didn’t get enough of Troy during TNO or the farmers market, here’s your reason to head back.
Wild Adriatic is playing at the Hollow to celebrate their return from their recent tour. If you’ve never been to the venue, formerly known as the Bayou, now’s your time.
Our friends at Mushpost are throwing the debut of their new dance music series called TIGERMILK. We’ve hosted some of the DJs on the bill in Albany before and if you’re looking for something to do in the city, this is the party for you.
