Friday April 5th

1st Friday Albany: It’s the beginning of the month and it’s FINALLY nice enough to walk around outside. Go check out art galleries, get a drink and a bite to eat on Lark. Highlights include the benefit group show for Lauren Tanski at Dead Prez and the work of Roland at Fuzz Records, with an acoustic performance by Prima.

Vinylmania at Elda’s: 40s, 50s, and 60s dance music played on actual records. Stop here after your 1st Friday.

Behemoth Music Festival at the Putnam Den: Total Slacket, U.S. Girls, Driftwood, Los Elk and Edith Pop.

Paula Wagner at Skidmore: The talk focuses on entrepreneurship and entertainment. Paula currently sits on the National Board of Directors for the Producers Guild of America.

An Evening with the Ballets Russes at Skidmore: Showcasing three famous ballets from Diaghilev’s “Ballets Russes”.
