Friday August 17th
Keep Albany Boring radio on WCDB. From 6-8pm KC and I will be playing some tunes for you to enjoy while driving or pregaming or cooking or whatever. From 8-10pm Looney will be kicking things up a notch, and after him, Lo-Fi Lobo will be giving you the best in local hip-hop.
Take One Car, My Favorite Fence, The Parthenon, Between the Arctic, Perfumeman at Jack’s Place: Some good old fashioned music made with instruments at the St. Rose operated venue. Take One Car has been picking up a lot of steam as of late and here’s a way to see them on the cheap.
Soul Search, Tripface, Rude Awakening and more at Bogies. Some serious mosh will be happening at Bogies.
Jeremy Kelly, Lysergic Shores, Saviour Self, Cyrus Gengras at Fuzz Records. Minimal/drone sounds taking over tonight’s show at Fuzz. There will be snacks.
The Figgs at Valentines. Celebrating 25 years as a band.
Saturday August 18th
SAWFest at Salem Art Works: Featuring: My Pet Dragon, Railbird, The Black Ships, The City Never Sleeps, Eric Margan, Anthony Fallacaro and Josh Robin. Local music, free camping, hosted at a sculpture field. Sounds pretty awesome.
Hip Hop vs Hardcore on a boat. Local rap guys vs local hardcore guys, in a friendly way, on a Dutch Apple Cruise.
Charlie Vella’s Birthday with Long Legs and Sid Stein Karaoke at Elda’s. Long legs is another one of those pop-up groups that you should make sure to see as soon as you can.
Troy Flea featuring music from Mike Tash. Head over to Troy for their farmer’s market, flea market and some music from Mike Tash.

Service Industry Night with DJ Trumastr at McGearys. Music, two for one drinks and a big patio. All you need.
