Ignite, a job fair for volunteer opportunities

Later today, Serve Albany presents an event called Ignite, which is a way to help those interested find a volunteering opportunity.

On November 5, 2015, Serve Albany will host a unique event aimed at making it as easy as possible for Albany residents to become volunteers. This second annual Ignite event will bring together some of the best food, art, and volunteer organizations to be found in our city. Last year Ignite connected people with dozens of great volunteer opportunities.

Check out the list of non-profits and head to the Albany Elks Lodge at 25 South Allen from 5:30-8pm. There will also be a talk from the mayor, Kathy Sheehan, as well as food, art, and music.
