Santa Speedo Sprint

The Albany Society for the Advancement of Philanthropy (ASAP) and the Albany All-Star Roller Derby Team are hosting the 9th Annual Santa Speedo Sprint on Saturday, December 6, 2014, at 2 pm. The race is a benefit for the Albany Damien Center as well as the HIV/AIDS program at Albany Med. Over $150,000 has been raised over the last eight sprints.

Last year there were 250 participants and around 2,000 spectators on Lark Street to watch the sprint. Also happening that same day is Winter WonderLark, a day to shop and support the local businesses on Lark Street. The sprint goes down Lark Street, starting from the Madison Ave side.

Registration is still open, but ends tomororw night, so get yourself registered!
