Tess bought DiCarlo’s
From the Albany Business Review:
According to the state Liquor Authority, Teresa Collins is president of the corporation that sought to change the name of the business listed on the liquor permit. A conditional approval was granted Sept. 23.
Collins, who goes by the first name Tess, is co-owner of McGeary’s, an Irish pub in downtown Albany. She could not be reached for comment.
Her attorney, former U.S. Congressman John E. Sweeney, said Collins plans to modernize the building.
The conditional approval from the state Liquor Authority indicates Collins executed a loan agreement with LAD Enterprises LLC.
Donald Zee, the attorney who represented the seller, said Larry Davis is a principal of LAD Enterprises LLC.
Davis, a wealthy entrepreneur, owns McGeary’s with Collins and is president and CEO of CommSoft, a billing software firm in East Greenbush.
He couldn’t be reached for comment.
This is probably the best thing that could have happened to DiCarlo’s.
