A guide to Capital Region businesses during COVID-19

As we’re settling into week whatever of quarantine, I figure we can all used a nicely compiled list of businesses that are open, and likely in very dire need of our support.

Also, businesses! Please update your websites (not just your socials) to let us know what you’re doing or how your business has changed during this time. SMCo. is the best example I’ve seen of this being done correctly. Help us help you!

Albany

Pint Sized: Booze. Delivery and pick up. Read the schedule on the page for delivery and minimums, or just go pick it up! Easy!

Delaware Supply: Booze. Pick up! Call or message them on Instagram to place an order. Menu here.

Son of Egg: Food (Korean sandwiches and bowls). Take out and delivery. Unfortunately opened during quarantine. (Also, look how good this website is!)

Berben and Wolffs: Food. Vegan. Delivery or pick-up.

Lost and Found: Food and Booze. Friday & Saturday 3pm-8pm, Sunday 11am-3pm. Curbside pickup and delivery.

Nine Pin Cider: Booze. Free local delivery, open 11am-5pm for pick-up.

Albany Distilling Co.: Booze. Cocktails, full bottles of spirits, and hand sanitizer.

The Cheese Traveler: Food. Cheese, meat and specialty foods. No-contact pickup.

Curry House: Food (Indian). Pick up and delivery.

Empire Wine: Booze. Order online, and they will put it into the trunk of your car. Delivery and shipping options as well.

Viva Cinco De Mayo: Food (Mexican) and Booze. Delivery and pickup.

Albany Ale & Oyster: Food and booze. Pick up.

Poke Bar on Lark: Food. Curbside pick up and delivery.

Toro Cantina on Wolf Rd: Food (Mexican) and booze. Pickup and delivery.

El Mariachi: Food. Take out and delivery.

Cuckoo’s Nest: Food. Pick up and delivery.

Crave: Food (burgers). Pick up and delivery.

El Loco: Food (Mexican) and booze. Pick up and delivery.

Honest Weight: Prepared foods delivered via Grubhub. Store still opened and very well stocked, but enforced lower capacity.

677 Prime: Food and booze. To go and delivery.

Zombie Planet on Central Ave: Curbside pickup for board games and comics, and delivery on orders over $50.

Troy

Franklin Alley Social Club: Food and booze. Tuesday-Sunday 4-8pm. Curbside pickup, with deliveries on Friday, Saturday, & Sunday.

Superior Merchandise: Food and booze, as well as some household staples such as eggs, cheese, jams, granola, etc. Take out only.

Berben and Wolffs: Food. Vegan. Delivery or pick-up.

Burrito Burrito: Food (Vegan Mexican) and pantry staples. Pick up.

Little Pecks: Food and coffee. Pick up and delivery. Also doing meals for two, to go, with a bottle of wine. Small grocery store is back as well.

22 2nd St Wine Co: The areas only natural wine shop. Pick up and delivery.

Troy Farmers Market: Food. Order online, and pick up on Wednesday or Saturday.

Nighthawks: Food and booze. Cocktails in Capri Sun-esque pouches. Pick-up.

Beyond

Il Faro in Menands: Food (Italian) and Booze. Family meals to go on Saturday’s. Beer, wine, and cocktails to go as well.

Great Flats Brewing in Schdy: Booze. Pick up some cans from Schenectady’s local brewery.

Boho Chic Boutique in Ballston Spa: Online store open as well as zoom personal shopping sessions.

Iron Coffee Co in Hoosick Falls: Coffee to-go. 7am-3pm.

Centre Street Pub in Schdy: Food (pub) and Booze. Delivery and pick-up.

Graham’s Coffee Parlor in Schdy: Coffee, food, smoothies, juices. To go.

Paesans Pizza in Albany, Rensselaer/EG, Guidlerland, Latham, Rotterdam: Food. Pick up and delivery. Pizza, wraps, wings, entrees, subs, hot platters and more. And also shipping frozen pizzas anywhere.

Pellegrino Imports in Malta: Food. Open for takeout 9am-6pm weekdays, and 8am-4pm on Saturdays.

When possible, avoid using apps or third-party online ordering systems. Call and order directly to avoid the businesses from having to pay the percentages. And if possible, use Mealeo over Grubhub, as Mealeo is based in Cohoes.

Also, this goes without saying, but tip well!
