Saratoga Tour de Cure
The Saratoga Tour de Cure has been announced and it will take place at the Saratoga Springs High School on Sunday June 7.
What is the Tour de Cure? The Tour de Cure is a series of fundraising cycling events held in 44 states nationwide to benefit the American Diabetes Association. The Tour is a ride, not a race, with routes designed for everyone from the occasional rider to the experienced cyclist. Whether you ride 10 miles or 100 miles, you will travel a route supported from start to finish with rest stops, food to fuel the journey and fans to cheer you on! The Saratoga Tour features beautiful views as you travel through small towns of the southern Adirondacks. The 10 mile is a beautiful flat ride through Saratoga Spa State Park. The 28 mile is all new and winds its way through the State Park and then connects to the Zim Smith trail. The 50 mile has moderate hills to climb at the 14 and 27 mile mark and a mostly downhill grade for the final 15 miles. The 62.5 and the 100 mile rides are for the experienced cyclist who enjoys a challenge. We also have an indoor stationary bike event for spinners!
This is a fun ride for a great cause. Register today and help get to the fundraising goal of $1.5M. You can find more info on The Tour de Cure facebook page
