2014 Windham Mountain Bike World Cup Festival

This weekend, at Windham Mountain is the Windham Mountain Bike World Cup Festival. This is a UCI World Cup event meaning it’s the highest level mountain biking racing that exists.

These races bring mountain biking’s biggest racers from more than 35 countries, as well as international media. The races are streamed online, broadcast around the world and are on Universal in the US. There are three distinct races for this weekend: Olympic Cross-Country (XCO), Cross-Country Eliminator (XCE) and Downhill (DHI).

The festival is all weekend and there’s even events starting today. Professional level racing starts tomorrow at 5pm, with Saturday’s pro races satrting around noon. Sunday’s elite racing is “big race” of the weekend which kicks off at 1pm, with other pro races happening earlier in the day.
