Visit: ‘The Study’ at Albany Center Gallery

This past Friday marked the opening of the latest exhibition at Albany Center Gallery, down on Columbia Street.

This gallery show, titled “The Study,” features the work of local artists MammalSoap, Emily Dorr, ♥Neener and Patrick Picou Harrington.

The show was curated specifically to present artists with the challenge of exploring the natural world from the comfort of the home. Each artist had materials ranging from books to the Earth and nature itself to work with and the result was an eclectic blend of mixed mediums. I absolutely loved the curation of this show, and felt each piece of work was connected, although from many various points of view.

The above photo collage features work by ♥Neener, who worked with pen and ink solely. I highly recommend you check out the show at ACG, which is running now through June 29.
