Delmar: The Spot for Vegans?

Everyone who has ever even talked to a vegan or vegeterian knows Empire Wok across from the Hannaford on Delaware in Delmar is the spot for mock meat Chinese food. However, in a hyper vague article, The Examiner posted about a quick switcheroo taking place at the former Java Jazz Cafe & Bakery (318 Delaware) into a new vegan restaurant, with a new owner.

I really hope this happens. The former Madison Ave Little Anthony’s had amazing vegan food but went the way of the dodo probably because it had the ambiance of hospital. I can’t wait to try this spot out. Keep watch for a review in a million years when it finally opens.
