Three arrested for serving alcohol to minors during Rensselaer County sweep Friday night
TROY — Three people were arrested as part of an underage drinking initiative conducted in Rensselaer County on Friday by the New York State Police. Three out of 19 bars and stores checked during the initiative were found to be in violation.
Katherine Malek, 30, of Troy, who works at Michael’s Bar in Sand Lake; Mohammad Sadiq, 42, of East Nassau, employed at the Country Farm Mini Mart; and Bogumi Poznanski, 54, of Castleon, who works at Village Inn; were arrested and charged with one count each of unlawfully dealing with a child, a class A misdemeanor.
